Job summary

KeyLogic, LLC seeks a Senior Software Engineer to support the Department of Energy. Hybrid role in Morgantown, WV or Pittsburgh, PA with remote considered. You will maintain existing software and create new applications within an agile team.

U.S. Citizenship is required for this government contract; 8+ years IT experience or 6+ with MS; 4+ years web app development; 4+ years with relational databases.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 8+ years of IT work experience or 6+ years with a MS in a related field.
• 4+ years of web application development experience.
• 4+ years of experience with relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications using .NET Core, ASP.NET Razor Pages, React, EF Core, and SQL Server.
• Modify legacy applications to implement new requirements and fixes.
• Contribute to system architecture and reusable components and integration patterns.
• Collaborate with technical and nontechnical stakeholders to define and estimate user stories.
• Participate in customer meetings to discuss requirements, design approaches, and demonstrate completed work.
• Engage in Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement in development practices.
• Support data integration, reporting efforts, and quality initiatives with business analysts.
• Pursue professional growth with emerging technologies relevant to the evolving technical stack.
