Job summary

NuAxis Innovations is seeking an IT Web Developer in Washington, DC for a full-time role focused on sustaining and modernizing public-facing and internal web applications built on ASP.NET/.NET 8 with IBM DB2 and Drupal ecosystems.

You will deliver two-week sprint maintenance, contribute to API enablement and data migrations, and ensure accessibility and security across deployments. Collaboration with enterprise services and DevOps practices is a core focus of this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of professional web app development with ASP.NET/C#/.NET Core.
• Experience with IBM DB2 or equivalent relational databases; REST API design and integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop, debug, and maintain ASP.NET/.NET 8 Core MVC and Razor apps.
• Write and optimize SQL and stored procedures for IBM DB2.
• Build and consume REST APIs integrating with enterprise services.
• Implement and maintain SSO/Federated identity integrations (Login.gov, SAML/OIDC).
• Address security findings per STIGs, SRRs, and SCA; meet timelines.
• Ensure UI accessibility per WCAG 2.1 AA and responsive design.
• Contribute to CI/CD (GitLab), code reviews, unit tests, and staged promotions.
• Provide Tier 2/3 production support and root cause analysis.
