Job summary

NuAxis is seeking an IT Web Developer to sustain and enhance web applications built on ASP.NET / .NET 8 with an IBM DB2 backend, alongside Drupal-based sites. You will deliver corrective, adaptive, and perfective maintenance in two-week sprints while contributing to modernization of the same portfolio.

Role involves API enablement, data migration support, decommissioning documentation, and supporting DOL release management with required testing and deployment evidence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional web app development with .NET ecosystem.
• Experience with ASP.NET Core, MVC, Razor, and EF.
• Strong SQL/database experience with IBM DB2.
• REST API design and integration experience.
• Proven ability to work in Agile/Scrum teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, debug, and maintain ASP.NET / .NET 8 Core MVC apps.
• Write and optimize SQL against IBM DB2; support schema changes.
• Build and consume REST APIs integrating with enterprise services.
• Implement and maintain SSO and federated identity integrations.
• Ensure UI accessibility per Section 508 / WCAG 2.1 AA.
• Participate in GitLab CI/CD and code reviews.
• Provide Tier 2/3 production support and RCA.
• Coordinate with Appian/WISE/PWRS and SharePoint integrations.
• Support release management with testing and deployment docs.
