Job summary

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a Senior Software Systems Engineer (.Net Developer) for a 100% remote role. The position requires a strong background in .Net, C#, MVC, RESTful APIs, SQL Server, and cloud services.

You will contribute to planning, development, testing, and deployment within an Agile team and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver enterprise-grade software. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a track record of working on

Qualifications

Expertise in .Net framework and .Net Core with C#
Back-end development using MVC and .Net Core
Strong OOP and design patterns knowledge
RESTful APIs and other API integrations
SQL Server with Entity Framework experience
Familiarity with Azure and AWS cloud services
Experience with version control (Git, TFS/TFVC)
Understanding of CI/CD tools (CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy)
Unit testing frameworks (NUnit, xUnit, MSTest)
Proficiency with Visual Studio and Azure DevOps

Responsibilities

Plan, define requirements, and perform testing and integration for software systems
Develop full-stack features with .Net backend, C#, and modern UI patterns
Lead daily stand-ups and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Ensure performance, quality, and reliability of applications
Support deployment and CI/CD pipelines for production systems
Promote test automation and modular software design
Document software designs and data flows
Mentor junior developers and review code quality
