Job summary

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) seeks a Senior Software Systems Engineer (.Net Developer) for a remote, full-time role supporting the VA. You will design and implement .NET back-end services, RESTful APIs, and CI/CD pipelines using Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Git, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).

Five+ years of .Net experience and US citizenship are required. You will participate in agile ceremonies, mentor junior developers, ensure performance and security best practices, and collaborate with

Qualifications

Five or more years of software development using .NET technologies.
Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field with substantial experience.
Experience with microservices, containerization, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
Proficient in RESTful APIs, MVC, and ORM technologies (EF).
Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tooling.
U.S. Citizenship required for this opportunity.

Responsibilities

Perform technical planning, requirements definition, test planning and execution for software systems.
Develop and support .NET back-end services and APIs.
Lead and participate in daily stand-ups within an Agile team.
Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
Ensure performance, quality, and security of applications.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide guidance.
