Job summary
Vermont Department of Health (VDH) is hiring an IT Systems Developer II to design, develop, and maintain .NET software for mission-critical applications. You will work in a small team to build Windows, Web, and API solutions and deploy them in Azure.
The role requires strong .NET skills, experience with SQL Server databases, and an emphasis on cybersecurity. This is a full-time position located in Waterbury, VT within the Agency of Digital Services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science required or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in computer or network support, programming, analysis, or database administration.
- 4+ years of experience in computer or network support, programming, analysis, or database administration.
Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, debug, configure, and document .NET software applications for VDH.
- Collaborate with Database Administrators to design and develop SQL Server databases.
- Configure and deploy applications, APIs and jobs in Azure environment.
