Job summary

Synechron in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications using .NET 8+, C#, React, and SQL Server. You will work in an Agile team across stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.

The role requires 7+ years of software development, hands-on experience with microservices, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), CI/CD, and cloud (Azure/AWS).

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of software development experience.
  • Experience with microservice architecture and containerized design (5+ years).
  • Experience with .NET API for backend development.
  • Frontend experience with React/Angular and Typescript/JavaScript (3+ years).
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD, Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Azure and AWS experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement web applications using .NET 8+ and React/TypeScript.
  • Establish development standards, version control, deployment, and maintenance processes.
  • Collaborate in an Agile environment with developers, sysadmins, and business users.
  • Provide technical design to developers and mentor peers.
  • Solve complex problems and propose architectural improvements.
  • Work with product owners to translate requirements into solutions.

Our challenge

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced senior most Senior .Net Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing code and ensure the quality and performance of software application. Senior .Net Developer plays a critical role in managing and maintaining application within an organization's infrastructure.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $90k - $110k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role Responsibilities:
  • Provides detail architect solution for web application development using .Net 8 or above, React/Typescript, SQL Server etc.
  • Participate in establishing processes and best practices around development standards, version control, quality control, deployment, maintenance and change management
  • Be able to work directly, efficiently, and professionally in an Agile environment with other developers and team members including senior developers, systems administrators, and business users
  • Provides detail technical design to developers
  • Able to assist developers to solve technical problems
  • Provide solutions for application architect improvements and enhancements
  • Works with product owners to understand requirement and transform into technical solution
  • Able to work independently to solve complex problems
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to invent creative solutions for complex problems
  • Perform code review and mentor other developers
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of Software Development.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with microservice architecture and containerized application design (5+ years)
  • Hands-on experience with project setup, schema creation, development of queries, documents and dashboard
  • Experience with .NET API for backend API development
  • Experience with front-ed web frameworks and toolkits such as React and Angular, Typescript or JavaScript (3+ years).
  • Excellent skills in C#, .Net Core/.Net 6/8 and above, SQL and database Performance turning, Entity Framework, LINQ
  • Experience with Test-Driven Development in writing integration, acceptance, and unit tests (5+ years)
  • Experience with AI implementation
  • Experience with CICD pipeline, Jenkins is preferred
  • Experience with Git is required
  • Experience with Docker container and Kubernetes is required
  • Excellent communication skill
  • Experience in Banking, Finance and Trading domain.
  • Experience with Azure and AWS is preferred but not required
  • Preferred, but not required: Experience in UI technologies
  • Experience in Banking/Finance domain
  • Experience in Unix/Shell scripting
