Job summary

Synechron is seeking an experienced .NET Full Stack Developer with strong Angular, Azure, and AWS expertise to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. You will work across the full software lifecycle with product managers, architects, QA, and DevOps to deliver secure, high-performance solutions.

The role emphasizes designing RESTful APIs, database solutions with SQL Server, and deploying in cloud environments using CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with C#, .NET Core / ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, and Entity Framework Core.
  • Strong frontend development experience with Angular, TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3, RxJS.
  • Hands-on experience deploying applications to Microsoft Azure and AWS; familiar with CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack web applications using .NET/C# and Angular.
  • Build scalable RESTful APIs and backend services with ASP.NET Core/Web API.
  • Design and implement database solutions using SQL Server and EF Core; work with NoSQL as needed.
  • Deploy and monitor applications across Azure and AWS environments; develop CI/CD pipelines.
  • Implement cloud-native, containerized, microservices architectures using Docker and Kubernetes.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Virginia $130k - $140k/year & benefits (see below).

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced .NET Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Angular, Microsoft Azure, and AWS to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will work across the full software development lifecycle, collaborating with product managers, architects, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver secure, high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack web applications using .NET/C# and Angular.
  • Build scalable, secure, and high-performing RESTful APIs and backend services using ASP.NET Core/Web API.
  • Design and implement database solutions using SQL Server, Entity Framework Core, and other relational or NoSQL databases.
  • Deploy, configure, and monitor applications across Microsoft Azure and AWS environments.
  • Work with cloud services such as:
  • AWS EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, and IAM
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Implement cloud-native, containerized, and microservices-based solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Apply security best practices, including authentication, authorization, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and role-based access control.
  • Write unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure application quality.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, optimize application performance, and support application releases.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
  • Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and deployment guides.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Azure and AWS certifications.
  • Knowledge of microservices and distributed systems.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with messaging systems such as:
  • Amazon SQS/SNS
  • Kafka
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Application Insights, Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, ELK, or Grafana.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks such as:
  • xUnit
  • NUnit
  • Moq
  • Karma
  • Cypress
  • Playwright
  • Understanding of DevSecOps, cloud security, and high-availability architecture
