Synechron is seeking a Senior React Developer / Full-Stack Engineer to join our Charlotte, NC team. You will collaborate across product, design, QA, and backend teams to deliver enterprise-grade applications.

The role blends frontend work with React.js and state management and backend work with Java, Spring Boot, and REST services. Strong communication, agile practices, and problem-solving are essential for success. Base salary in Charlotte ranges from $95,000 to $110,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on React.js experience with hooks and functional components.
• Proficiency with Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and RESTful services.
• Experience with Git and collaborative code-review workflows.
• Experience writing automated tests (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, JUnit or Mockito).
• Strong understanding of front-end performance, security, and Agile/Scrum practices.

Responsabilités

Role: Senior React Developer / Full-Stack Engineer

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $95000-$110000/year & benefits (see below)..

The Role

Responsibilities:

Front-End Development - 70-80%

• Design and develop responsive web applications using React.js.
• Build reusable, maintainable, and scalable UI components.
• Manage application state using Redux, Context API, Zustand, or similar tools.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and handle asynchronous data flows.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and accessibility.
• Develop unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce front-end coding standards.
• Collaborate with designers to implement user-friendly interfaces.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across environments.

Java and Back-End Development - 20-30%

• Work with Java-based back-end services and REST APIs.
• Develop or enhance services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Understand existing Java application architecture and business logic.
• Support API development, integration, debugging, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with back-end engineers on API contracts and data models.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito.
• Investigate issues across the front-end and Java back-end layers.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of software development experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with React.js.

• 2+ years of experience working with Java, preferably Java 8 or later.
• Working knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and RESTful services.

• Strong understanding of front-end performance, security, and accessibility.
