Job summary

Publicis Sapient is seeking a .NET senior developer to join federal health initiatives, combining hands-on maintenance with building new capabilities for NIH-related programs. You’ll work across frontend and backend layers, focusing on robust APIs, accessibility, and secure, scalable code.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and engage in client-facing discussions while delivering high-impact digital solutions in a regulated government contracting

Qualifications

• 4-7+ years' experience in .NET full stack development.
• Strong knowledge of the .NET ecosystem: C#, .NET Core, .NET Framework, EF (Code-First and stored-procedure patterns).
• Frontend experience: React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS across frontend/backend layers.
• Experience with SQL Server, stored procedures, performance, and multi-environment deployment.
• Comfort in layered architectures; Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to read and modify unfamiliar code; significant operations/maintenance work.
• Strong debugging and root-cause analysis; triage cross-cutting issues.
• Experience in automated unit testing; accessibility remediations; API integration.
• Excellent collaboration with developers, QA, and DBA; client-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain mission-critical systems and design/build new capabilities for NIH-related projects.
• Triage issues across full stack and diagnose complex problems.
• Develop, consume, and troubleshoot RESTful APIs using C#/.NET.
• Work with Agile/Scrum teams and contribute to test automation strategy.
• Ensure Section 508 accessibility remediations and standards compliance.
