Publicis Sapient in Arlington, VA is seeking a .NET senior developer to partner with federal health clients on major digital initiatives, balancing maintenance of mission-critical systems with opportunities to design and build new capabilities for NIH.

You will work across the full stack using C#, .NET Core/Framework, SQL Server, React, and CI/CD pipelines, with a focus on reliability and accessibility in government projects.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience in .NET full stack development.
• Strong knowledge of .NET ecosystem: C#, .NET Core, .NET Framework, Entity Framework.
• Frontend experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS.
• Experience with SQL Server and stored procedures.

Publicis Sapient is looking for a .NET senior developer to partner with federal health clients undertaking major digital engagement initiatives. You ll balance hands-on maintenance of mission-critical systems with opportunities to design and build new capabilities that further the mission of a large NIH institute. Your Skills and Experience:

• 4-7+ years experience in .NET full stack development
• Strong knowledge of the .NET ecosystem, including C#, .NET Core, .NET Framework, and Entity Framework (Code-First and stored-procedure hybrid patterns)
• Frontend development experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, with the ability to work across both frontend and backend application layers
• Experience with SQL Server: writing and maintaining stored procedures, understanding query performance, and working across dev/QA/stage/prod environments
• Comfort operating within a layered architecture
• Experience with Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or equivalent)
• Demonstrated ability to read, diagnose, and safely modify unfamiliar or partially documented code; this role includes significant ongoing operations and maintenance work, not just new development
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills across the full stack, including the ability to triage ambiguous, cross-cutting issues
• Experience in writing automated unit tests
• Ability to build technical remediations for Section 508/accessibility issues
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while also collaborating closely with other developers, QA, and DBA when necessary
• Professional communication skills suitable for client-facing scenarios
• NET / MVC and Object-oriented design
• Experience developing, consuming, and troubleshooting RESTful APIs using C#/.NET
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
• Eligible for U.S. Government Clearance public trust

Set Yourself Apart:

• Experience with Active Directory group-based access control and authentication/authorization patterns
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting Sitecore-based .NET applications hosted in Azure, including supporting existing applications through decommissioning or transition
• Experience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD platforms
• Exposure to Power Apps, Power Automate, or SharePoint Online
• Experience integrating Azure OpenAI into a .NET or similar web application (genuinely a plus rather than a core expectation)
• Experience with SyncFusion or similar reporting/export component libraries
• Experience with SeriLog or structured application logging and error-tracking practices
• Familiarity with CQRS, Repository, and Dependency Injection patterns
• Experience contributing to legacy modernization or decommissioning efforts
• Experience contributing to test automation strategy or execution
• Familiarity with accessibility design philosophy and best practices for federal web applications
• Prior experience in a federal/government contracting environment, especially NIH or HHS
• Experience working in Jira or similar project management platform

Pay Range: $115,000-$165,000

The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work.
