Job summary

AgreeYa Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in West Los Angeles to join our BaaS team. You will design APIs and microservices for partner onboarding, collaborate with product and architecture teams, and mentor others while promoting CI/CD, testing, and observability.

The role emphasizes secure, scalable solutions with strong emphasis on gateway services, cloud platforms, and compliant practices within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with at least 1 year in a technical leadership role.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating secure, standards-compliant code across platforms.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, OAuth2, OpenAPI specifications.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures (Service Bus, Event Hubs) and microservice patterns.
• Experience with observability dashboards (Datadog, Grafana).
• Proficient with Git, DevOps, Agile Scrum, and security best practices (PCI DSS, SOC 2).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop APIs and microservices for BaaS onboarding and partner integration.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define technical requirements.
• Lead code reviews and promote CI/CD, testing, and observability best practices.
• Ensure SLA compliance and contribute to monitoring/alerting systems.
• Contribute to incident response and root-cause analyses for reliability.
• Draft architecture and design docs for option analysis and decisions.
• Evaluate new technologies and determine adoption paths.
• Refactor and extend codebase for defects and new features, prioritizing configurability over customization.
