Beacon Hill seeks a .NET Developer in the greater Pittsburgh area. The role requires experience with .NET, Blazor, and C# and 5+ years of software development experience.

As the .NET Developer, you will be heavily collaborating with other developers on a banking platform. You will contribute to the Software Development Life Cycle by producing computer programs that satisfy the solution of business problems or needs.

Qualifications

• College degree in information technology or related field; work experience may substitute education.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Experience developing cross-functional systems.
• Knowledge of .NET Framework, Visual Studio, .NET Core, Blazor, C#, SQL Server, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience using Git for source control is a plus.
• Ability to turn requirements into design documents and architect complex solutions.
• Ability to document deployment and backout plans for production changes.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Codes complex programs using .NET, C#.
• Utilizes Rider, Git, .NET Core, Blazor, BUnit, and SQL Server.
• Accesses SQL databases and implements program changes.
• Tests programs for accuracy and reliability.
• Communicates task status to supervisor and peers.
• Investigates and resolves system problems.
• Contributes to design of new systems and improvement of existing ones.
• Keeps up with advances in technology and industry trends.
• Performs other duties as assigned and supports risk management requirements.
