Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Experience developing cross-functional systems.
• Knowledge of .NET Framework, Visual Studio, .NET Core, Blazor, C#, SQL Server, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience using Git for source control is a plus.
• Ability to turn requirements into design documents and architect complex solutions.
• Ability to document deployment and backout plans for production changes.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Beacon Hill is seeking a .NET Developer in the greater Pittsburgh area. This role requires experience with .NET, Blazor, and C# and 5+ years of software development experience. As the .NET Developer, you will be heavily collaborating with other developers on a banking platform. You will contribute to the Software Development Life Cycle by producing computer programs that satisfy the solution of business problems or needs. The .NET Developer is considered to be an experienced programmer with advanced program design skills. The major emphasis of this position is to define and lead software development projects and mentor less experienced team members.

Qualifications:

• College degree with a concentration in information technology required; will consider work experience in lieu of education.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Experience in developing cross-functional systems.
• Knowledge of the .NET Framework and the proven ability to work with Microsoft Visual Studio, .NET Core, Blazor, C#, SQL Server, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience using Git for source control and build management is a plus.
• Ability to work independently to turn requirements into design documents.
• Ability to architect/design, code, unit test, and implement complex solutions to technical problems.
• Ability to document deployment and backout plans for code changes going into production.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, peers, users and management.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and have proven the ability to meet deadlines.

Principal Activities and Duties:

• Works with the team to design new systems and improve the functionality of existing systems.
• Maintains working knowledge of the technological advances in the computer industry in general and the computer environment specifically.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
