Senior .NET Developer

We are seeking an exceptional Senior .NET Developer to join our team of analysts, designers, and developers to deliver outstanding results for our customer. This role offers the opportunity to impact the future of U.S. Federal Courts and officers in the field through your innovation and creativity. Use your skills and knowledge with state-of-the-art tools and technology to provide a superior user experience.

If you have extensive development skills in .NET and experience with large, complex web applications, we want you on our team supporting the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts (AO) in Washington DC. Join GDIT’s team to support the CMSO suite of software applications, which are crucial to the AO mission.

Responsibilities:
  1. Participate in an Agile team to deliver the full software lifecycle: requirements, architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  2. Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, efficient, and effective code to ensure a great customer experience.
  3. Follow standards and best practices, including performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.
  4. Update and maintain system design documents.
  5. Review and provide feedback on requirements and technical specifications.
  6. Improve the software development lifecycle through practices like code analysis, reviews, CI/CD, and security scanning.
  7. Work closely with technical leads to ensure system design aligns with industry standards and judiciary frameworks.
  8. Contribute to team learning and process improvements through teamwork, training, and innovation.
Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of relevant development experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience in software engineering and architecture design.
  • Knowledge of system security best practices.
  • Research experience with advanced technologies supporting business needs.
  • Proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, SQL, and related technologies.
  • Experience with ASP.NET WebForms, MVC, WebAPI, REST, WCF, JSON, XML, SOAP, LINQ, Entity Framework.
  • Experience with development tools like Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, GIT, JIRA, and related tools.
  • Understanding of Cloud and DevOps architectures.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills within Agile environments.

The salary range is approximately $123,250 - $166,750, depending on experience and location.
