Job summary

Installed Building Products is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to own end-to-end design and delivery of complex features in Columbus, Ohio. You will drive development from scoping through production, shaping a modern .NET stack and scalable software solutions.

Responsibilities include maintaining production systems, building CI/CD pipelines, evaluating new technologies, and mentoring junior developers while upholding security and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of technical experience in the .NET stack.
• Strong knowledge of C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, and REST APIs.
• Experience with unit testing using NUnit and NSubstitute.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the design and delivery of complex features end-to-end, from initial scoping through production, with minimal guidance.
• Maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot existing production systems.

Qualification

• 5+ years of technical experience in the .NET stack.
• Strong understanding of C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, and REST APIs.
• Experience with unit testing and writing testable code; NUnit and NSubstitute preferred.

Nice To Have

• Experience with Blazor, React, or another front-end development ecosystem preferred.
• Experience with RDBMS; SQL Server preferred.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines; Azure DevOps preferred.
• Experience with Docker and Azure-based deployment environments.
• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools.
• Experience modernizing legacy applications, including .NET Framework and/or Classic ASP.
