Job summary

Aquent, partnering with a leading financial services firm in Austin, seeks an experienced engineer to own technical delivery for defined customer journeys and build scalable web and AI-enabled solutions. You will shape REST-based APIs, drive cloud-native microservices, and mentor teammates, impacting time-to-market and client experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 8–10 years backend development in C#/.Net.
• Experience with .NET, .NET Core, Spring, Hibernate; UML.
• Strong OO design, SOA, design patterns, maintenance.
• REST-based Web Service API design in transaction processing.
• Cloud Native Apps and Microservices architecture.
• GCP experience; web stack: Angular/React, SQL/NoSQL.
• Proficiency in Angular/React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, Backbone, Bootstrap, Node.
• Knowledge of AI tech for accelerating dev/testing; Github Copilot.
• Understanding of architecture standards, SOLID, Agile.
• Self-motivated, multi-project management.
• Excellent communication skills.
