Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Senior .NET/C# Developer in Austin, TX, onsite, to contribute to AI-assisted workflows across the SDLC in a financial domain. You will work with .NET, Kafka, and cloud-native patterns to deliver reliable business solutions.

The role requires 5+ years in software engineering with .NET, 4+ years cloud-native experience (GCP, Docker, Kubernetes), and hands-on AI/ML deployment. You will partner with architects and product teams to drive modernization initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering in .NET, cloud or web services.
• 4+ years building cloud-native apps with GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, CI/CD.
• 2+ years working with MongoDB, Aerospike, PostgreSQL, or equivalent databases.
• 1+ years hands-on AI/ML deployment or AI-assisted engineering practices.
• Experience owning software components and collaborating in a delivery team.
• Experience contributing to IT transformation or modernization initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, event-driven .NET applications using Kafka and cloud-native patterns.
• Build and modernize high-volume services and APIs for reliable transaction processing.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and developers to turn capabilities into technical solutions.
• Leverage GenAI coding assistants across the SDLC for coding, testing, and automation.
• Apply agentic workflows, prompt engineering, and spec-driven development practices.
• Improve quality via automated testing, code reviews, performance analysis, and observability.
• Support modernization toward distributed .NET services and modern data stores.
• Work in a team-oriented environment to advance responsible AI development.
