Job summary
Allstate Insurance Company is seeking a seasoned software engineer to lead the maintenance, modernization, and evolution of a mission-critical application for dealer services. You will design, develop, and support backend services and APIs, balancing a mature production environment with ongoing modernization efforts.

Qualifications
- Proven experience building backend services and APIs for enterprise applications.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful design, versioning, testing, and integration patterns.
- Solid understanding of OO design and modern engineering practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs for enterprise payment solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders on solutions.
- Contribute to architecture and operation of scalable microservices.
- Apply clean code, TDD, code reviews, and automated testing practices.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and support applications in production.
- Adhere to coding standards, security requirements, and best practices.
