Cognizant is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to design, build and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using C#, .NET and ASP.NET Web API. You will collaborate with the ADM team and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions.

The role is hybrid, remote-friendly for US applicants (Charlotte, NC time). Requires 5+ years backend experience, REST API, SQL Server, Git and unit testing; banking experience preferred. Visa transfer/sponsorship is not available.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of backend development experience with C#, .NET and ASP.NET Web API.
• Hands-on experience building and integrating REST APIs and SQL Server.
• Experience using Git and applying unit testing practices.
• Exposure to microservices architecture and cloud platforms.
• Awareness of DevOps practices and production support experience.
• Banking/financial services experience is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, enhance and maintain backend services, APIs and components using C#, .NET and ASP.NET Web API.
• Write scalable, secure and high-performance code for complex modules and features.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing and troubleshooting to improve quality and stability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and support delivery priorities.
• Work independently while supporting overlapping time zones as needed.
