Cognizant is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in code reviews, and ensure high-quality, reliable software across overlapping time zones in a hybrid US-based role.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in C#, .NET, ASP.NET Web API, REST APIs, and SQL Server, with DevOps awareness and banking experience preferred.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of backend development with C#, .NET and ASP.NET Web API.
• REST APIs and SQL Server experience.
• Git and unit testing practices in software development.
• Exposure to microservices architecture and cloud platforms.
• DevOps awareness and production support experience.
• Banking or financial services experience preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, enhance and maintain backend services, APIs and components using C#, .NET and ASP.NET Web API.
• Write scalable, secure and high-performance code and contribute to complex modules and features.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing and troubleshooting to improve quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and priorities.
• Work independently while supporting overlapping time zones when required.
