Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to design, enhance and maintain scalable backend services and APIs for our client applications. You will join the ADM team and collaborate with technology, delivery and business stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions.

The role focuses on building robust C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Web API components, writing secure, high-performance code and participating in reviews, testing and production support across time zones. Hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years backend development with C#, .NET, ASP.NET Web API.
• REST APIs and SQL Server experience.
• Git and unit testing practices in software development.
• Exposure to microservices and cloud platforms.
• DevOps awareness and production support experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance and maintain backend services, APIs and components using C#, .NET and ASP.NET Web API.
• Write scalable, secure and high-performance code while contributing to complex modules.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing and troubleshooting to improve quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and priorities.
• Work independently while supporting overlapping time zones when required.
