Job summary

Itcharm is seeking an experienced Lead .NET/Azure Developer to drive a large, business-critical platform for a US-based client. The role combines hands-on development with technical leadership, mentoring, and ownership of code quality and deployment processes.

You will work with solution architects, QA, DevOps, and product teams to deliver scalable solutions using modern .NET and Azure technologies in an enterprise environment. Remote EU work is supported.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of commercial software development experience.
• Strong expertise in C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, and Web API.
• Solid knowledge of Entity Framework/EF Core.
• Hands-on with Azure App Services, Azure SQL, Azure DevOps, and Application Insights.
• Strong CI/CD understanding and modern delivery practices.
• Experience improving production stability, performance, and reliability.
• Leading developers, conducting code reviews, and mentoring teams.
• API design, integrations, and software architecture fundamentals.
• Collaborate with architects, QA, DevOps, and product stakeholders.
• Fluent English for international collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead backend services in C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core.
• Remain actively involved in coding and solving technical challenges.
• Improve code quality, maintainability, performance, and standards.
• Design and develop APIs, integrations, and data access solutions.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce development practices.
• Mentor developers and support their growth.
• Collaborate with architects on architectural decisions.
• Work with QA and DevOps to improve testing, deployment, monitoring, and releases.
• Identify and resolve performance, scalability, and reliability issues.
• Contribute to CI/CD improvements and automated quality gates.
• Help identify and reduce technical debt.
• Translate product requirements into technical solutions.
