Job summary

B&A is seeking a Senior .NET Systems Architect/Developer to support a federal program in a legacy environment, driving enhancements, data integration, and reliable operation. You will design, develop, and stabilize .NET/C# applications, work with COBOL/mainframe components, and collaborate with federal staff, vendors, and internal teams.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in CS or equivalent, 5–8+ years of software or architecture experience, and is proficient with Visual Studio, SQL

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5-8+ years of software development and/or system architecture.
• Strong experience with .NET Framework/.NET Core, C#, and Visual Studio.
• Experience with data integration, data movement, or ETL processes.
• Familiarity with legacy systems, including COBOL or mainframe environments.

Responsibilities

• .NET/C# applications in a legacy system environment using Visual Studio.
• Stabilize development and production environments with stakeholders.
• Design data movement and integration solutions across platforms.
• Analyze COBOL or mainframe components and suggest practical enhancements.
