Job summary
Fintech is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and evolve enterprise data APIs, contributing to API architecture and a self-service catalog. You will coordinate across teams to deliver scalable, secure APIs and integrate databases with API layers using MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and OpenSearch.
You will leverage Kafka for streaming, author OpenAPI specs, and drive AI-assisted improvements, security testing, and observability with Grafana.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a related field with relevant API development experience.
- 5-7 years of professional software engineering experience for API-focused roles.
- Strong hands-on .NET experience and API design fundamentals.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain APIs using .NET.
- Architect API and database solutions for scalability and reliability.
- Design and integrate databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, OpenSearch) with APIs.
- Utilize Kafka for event-driven and streaming patterns.
- Document APIs with OpenAPI and maintain a developer portal discovery flow.
- Contribute to AI-assisted improvements in API development and delivery.
- Debug and troubleshoot production systems using Grafana and observability tools.
- Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities with SAST/DAST practices.
