Job summary

Finastra is seeking a Senior Back-End Engineer to design and implement robust backend services, APIs, and processes for Flow, Finastra’s Agentic AI platform. You will focus on server‑side logic, data access patterns and scalability, while collaborating across teams to ensure seamless integration with frontend systems.

You’ll build features in Python and C#/.NET, implement APIs and backend services, and apply SOLID principles with unit testing to ensure maintainable code.

Qualifications

• Expert in Python, C#/.NET and OOP fundamentals.
• Strong understanding of databases.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in containerized deployments.
• Familiar with Git/GitHub version control.
• Experience with Development on Azure.
• Understanding of common software design patterns.
• Experience integrating with LLMs and ML systems.
• Experience implementing API endpoints.
• Unit testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Focus on server-side logic, data access patterns, performance and scalability.
• Write clean, maintainable backend code in Python/C#/.NET.
• Implement features, fix bugs, and conduct code reviews.
• Maintain and improve codebases and write technical specs.
• Develop APIs, services and backend processes for enterprise apps.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and stakeholders for integration.
• Implement unit tests to ensure reliability and quality.
