Job summary

Fintech is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and evolve our enterprise data APIs. You will contribute to API architecture and delivery, contribute to a new API catalog and self-service discovery portal, and help drive AI-assisted improvements to how we design, build, and ship APIs.

You're expected to combine strong hands-on engineering with architectural judgment to create scalable, secure, well-documented APIs and coordinate across teams to achieve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with .NET and API development.
• Experience designing, optimizing, and integrating databases with APIs.
• Practical knowledge of Kafka for messaging/streaming.
• Experience documenting APIs with OpenAPI.
• Ability to monitor production systems with Grafana and address security vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain APIs using .NET.
• Architect API and database solutions for scalability and reliability.
• Contribute to an API catalog and developer portal with natural-language search.
• Drive AI-assisted improvements in API development and delivery.
• Debug and troubleshoot production issues using Grafana and related tools.
• Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities using SAST/DAST and OWASP practices.
