Job summary

Citi is hiring a Senior .NET/Angular Full Stack Developer (Assistant Vice President) to join our Applications Development team in Chennai. You will contribute to designing, developing, and delivering enterprise web applications, leveraging C#, ASP.NET Core/MVC, Angular, and SQL Server in a hybrid work environment.

The role requires deep expertise in microservices, containers, and Agile practices, plus strong problem-solving and stakeholder-facing skills.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of relevant experience.
• 7+ years of hands-on development in the .NET framework with C#.
• Proven experience with ASP.NET Core or ASP.NET MVC for building web applications.
• 5+ years of MS SQL Server database development.
• 5+ years of Angular development (Angular 18 preferred).
• Experience with microservices and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Experience with an Agile release methodology.
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects.
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development.
• Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, and IT planning.
• Monitor and control all phases of development, design, testing and implementation.
• Provide user and operational support on applications to business users.
• Analyze complex problems and evaluate business processes and industry standards.
• Suggest and implement security measures post-implementation.
• Consult with users and tech groups on issues and solutions.
• Provide guidance to junior analysts and teammates.
• Operate with limited supervision and act as SME to stakeholders.
