Job summary

Akaasa Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Contractor) to support a cloud-native modernization project on Azure, using .NET Core and Angular. You will write high-quality code daily, own components, and contribute to both new development and legacy modernization.

The role requires hands-on expertise across UI and API layers, REST design, and strong communication. You will collaborate with BAs, product owners, QA, and other engineers in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Senior software engineer with hands-on .NET Core / ASP.NET Core and Angular experience.
• Proven ability to design and consume RESTful APIs and work with Azure services.
• Strong communication skills and independent, collaborative work style.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable .NET Core / C# applications.
• Build and enhance Angular-based UI components for enterprise apps.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs.
• Contribute to Azure-based cloud architecture.
• Participate in modernization of legacy systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, testable code.
• Troubleshoot production issues with ownership.
• Perform code reviews and ensure quality.
• Collaborate with BAs, product owners, QA, and engineers.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and modern SDLC practices.
