Motion Recruitment is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its engineering team and help build a scalable software platform. You will work on hands-on development with C#, .NET Core, Angular, TypeScript, SQL and RESTful APIs, contributing to ongoing platform improvements.

The role focuses on ownership, mentorship, and collaboration, with opportunities to influence architecture, drive best practices, and deliver business-critical applications in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
6+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong experience with C# and .NET Core.
3+ years of Angular and TypeScript experience.
Advanced SQL/T-SQL development experience.
Experience designing RESTful APIs and services.
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Experience with automated testing and software quality practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance existing applications.

Responsibilities

Hands-on development across the stack (40% .NET Core/C#).
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and services.
Design and implement data access with SQL/T-SQL.
Collaborate on cloud technologies and DevOps practices.
Mentor and provide technical leadership to engineers.
Contribute to architecture decisions and best practices.

A growing technology focused organization is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join its engineering team and help build and enhance a highly scalable software platform. This full time opportunity is a strong fit for an experienced engineer with a background in C#, .NET Core, Angular, TypeScript, SQL, cloud technologies, and RESTful APIs. In this role, you’ll work on business critical applications while contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of the platform.

The Senior Software Engineer will play a key role in hands on development, technical problem solving, and collaboration across the engineering team. This position also offers the opportunity to contribute to architectural decisions, mentor other engineers, and help drive development best practices.
