Job summary

Prime Health Services in the United States seeks a Senior Application Developer to lead complex feature delivery in a Microsoft environment. You will translate business needs into actionable designs, own work from discovery to production, and guide AI-assisted development with emphasis on security, testing, and maintainability.

You will design APIs, data models, and testing strategies, mentor peers, and strengthen CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Advanced professional experience developing full-stack applications with Microsoft .NET, C#, SQL Server, web technologies, APIs, automated testing, and source-control practices.
• Demonstrated experience delivering complex features or cross-system solutions and supporting production applications.
• Strong knowledge of application architecture, data modeling, integration patterns, security, performance, maintainability, CI/CD, and release practices.
• Experience leading technical design, code review, root-cause analysis, and technical problem solving.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor developers and influence engineering quality without direct supervisory authority.
• Demonstrated ability to validate and improve AI-generated requirements, technical designs, code, tests, and documentation.
• Degree, relevant technical certification, or equivalent directly related experience sufficient to perform the responsibilities of the role.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements analysis, solution design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support for complex features and cross-system solutions.
• Facilitate discussions with product owners, stakeholders, and engineers to clarify outcomes, risks, and constraints.
• Design secure, scalable solutions using .NET, C#, React, TypeScript, SQL Server, REST APIs, and Azure services.
• Define API contracts, data models, boundaries, and testing strategies for assigned solutions.
• Establish testing strategies, including unit, integration, and automated testing where appropriate.
• Review technical designs, PRs, code changes, test coverage, and documentation with actionable feedback.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Identify technical debt and prioritize remediation based on risk and value.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines, release practices, and development standards.
• Mentor junior developers in software design, testing, and responsible AI development.
• Contribute reusable prompts, instructions, and patterns to the team.
