Job summary

PROtect LLC is seeking a dedicated NDT Inspector to perform non-destructive testing on structures, pipelines, and components using x-ray, ultrasonic, and related techniques. The role involves selecting and operating NDT equipment, identifying defects, and documenting results while ensuring team safety and compliance with procedures.

The position requires the ability to work a demanding and flexible schedule, including long days and travel as needed, with a strong emphasis on safety and accuracy

Qualifications

• NDT methods expertise with willingness to learn and apply skills.
• Mechanical knowledge for inspecting components and equipment.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures to protect the crew.

Responsibilities

• Perform NDT testing of structures and components per applicable codes and procedures.
• Utilize multiple NDT methods (radiography, ultrasonic, magnetic particle, penetrant, visual) to inspect items.
• Identify defects and document results; load, calibrate, and operate NDT equipment as needed.
• Provide instruction to assistants and ensure safety of the team.
• Maintain vehicles and equipment, and travel as required.
