Job summary

PROtect seeks a skilled NDT technician to perform inspections on structures and components using X-ray, ultrasonic, and related methods. You will select, calibrate, and operate NDT equipment while identifying defects and documenting results.

The role requires ability to work a demanding schedule, travel as needed, and lead safety practices on site. A High School diploma or GED is required along with valid credentials in NDT methods.

Qualifications

• Expertise in multiple NDT methods as listed (RT, UT, MT, PT, etc.).
• Ability to read codes and follow procedures.
• Experience with inspecting components and materials.

Responsibilities

• Conduct non-destructive testing of components and materials in accordance with applicable codes and procedures.
• Utilize appropriate NDT methods to perform inspections (gamma/x-ray, ultrasonic, penetrant, magnetic particle, leak testing, visual).
• Select, prepare, load, calibrate, or operate equipment used in NDT.
• Identify defects using appropriate testing techniques.
• Complete documentation and work orders following established protocols and timelines.
• Drive company vehicles and maintain a safe driving record.
• Provide instruction to assigned assistants and ensure team safety.
