Job summary

PROtect LLC seeks an NDT Inspector to perform non-destructive testing on structures, pipelines, and components using x-ray, ultrasound, and related methods. The role requires certification in RT/UT/MT/PT with PAUT experience a plus, strong safety adherence, and the ability to work long hours on-site in challenging environments.

Responsibilities include selecting and operating NDT equipment, documenting results, and training teammates while maintaining a safe, efficient workflow.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or GED.
• Certification in RT/UT/MT/PT; PAUT a plus.
• NDT methods expertise and ability to apply standards in the field.
• Demonstrated NDT skill and safety-focused workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Perform NDT testing of components/materials per codes and procedures.
• Use multiple NDT methods: gamma/radiography, X-ray, MT/PT, UT, liquid penetrant, leak testing, and visual inspections.
• Prepare, load, calibrate, operate NDT equipment; identify defects.
• Complete documentation and work orders per protocols and timelines.
• Possess driving responsibilities and maintain safe driving record.
• Provide instruction to assistants and ensure crew safety.
