Job summary

Petersen Incorporated in Ogden, UT is seeking a Responsible Level III NDE to create and maintain NDE procedures, train personnel, and support audits. You will interface with engineering and ensure compliance with ASNT standards.

Qualifications

• Must have ASNT Level III with at least two NDE methods, preferably MT/PT/VT.
• Ability to certify qualifications and complete additional education/testing for other NDE processes within a reasonable time.
• Verifiable hours and documentation for Level II/III NDE certifications meeting ASNT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create, edit and maintain NDE SOPs, work instructions and program documents.
• Maintain written practice for training, examination and certification of NDE personnel; reference ASNT standards.
• Train and monitor NDE personnel proficiency, including audits and testing for compliance.
• Develop, qualify and designate NDE procedures and techniques.
• Participate in customer and certification audits.
• Interface with engineering to plan NDE operations and review job requirements.
• Provide NDE technical expertise to internal and external customers.
• Plan jobs and attend operational meetings to support production control.
