Job summary

Acuren Inspection, Inc. is seeking an NDT Level MT/PT/UT II Technician in Port Arthur, TX. The role involves setting up nondestructive testing equipment and performing MT/PT/UT inspections to detect defects while ensuring safety compliance.

You will interpret results, prepare reports, and may supervise junior technicians in a fast-paced industrial environment. The ideal candidate holds a High School diploma, some college, and a Level II certification, with strong NDT knowledge and report-writing

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Some college coursework preferred.
• Certified Level II in MT/PT/UT.
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures.
• Ability to interpret inspection results and write reports.
• Familiarity with NDT equipment.
• Experience performing assigned NDT tasks.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
• Conduct tests to detect discontinuities using NDT methods.
• Establish examination techniques with safety in mind.
• Apply testing criteria per specs and evaluate results.
• Interpret radiographs, CRT, digital readouts, conductivity meters.
• Organize and report test results.
• Perform specialized inspections.
• May instruct and supervise others.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
