Job summary

Acuren is seeking a Mulit-Cert NDT Level II Technician to support operations in Memphis, TN. The role involves setting up NDT equipment, conducting tests, and interpreting results to ensure quality and safety.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma, Level II certifications in RT/MT/PT/UT, and a strong background in NDT methods and report writing. On-site work with potential supervisory duties is expected.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Some college preferred.
• Certified Level II RT, MT, PT, UT.
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures.
• Ability to interpret inspection results.
• Knowledge of NDT equipment.
• Experience in report writing.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities using NDT methods of inspection.
• Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring safety regulations.
• Apply testing criteria in accordance with specifications or standards and evaluate results.
• Interpret radiographs, CRT or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators.
• Organize and report test results.
• Perform specialized inspections.
• May instruct and supervise others.
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management
