Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced NDT professional to oversee Level III operations in an aerospace foundry environment. You will manage radiographic and penetrant NDT processes, ensure certification accuracy, and participate in MRB meetings to drive quality improvements.

The role requires 5+ years in aerospace NDT (or 10+ in other industries), ASNT/NAS 410 Level III in RT/CR/DR/Film and PT, and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years aerospace NDT experience or 10+ years in other industries; casting experience.
• Must be trained and certified with the ability to maintain ASNT/NAS 410 Level III NDT certification in RT (CR, DR, and Film) and PT; ASNT certification in same.
• Must be able to pass a company general, specific, and practical examination in each method.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiar with AS9100 and NADCAP audit requirements for special processes.

Responsibilities

• Control NDT processes with supervision of Level III.
• Resolve NDT issues (acceptance/rejection) referencing specs and drawings.
• Ensure certifications are correct and up to date.
• Attend MRB meetings as needed.
• Update radiographic and penetrant methods with new technology.
• Revise radiographic techniques and ensure new exposure parameters are correct.
• Learn equipment and calibration requirements, process controls, etc.
• Train and maintain NDT certifications internally.
• Review film usage for coverage and give final approval.
• Write work instructions for Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection when required.
• Check equipment calibration and send out for calibration when needed in FPI and X-ray.
• Attend process improvement meetings; ensure NADCAP and customer requirements.
