Job summary
Energy Transfer is seeking a Sr. Specialist- NDE specialist to provide ongoing technical leadership, oversight, and support for nondestructive examination activities related to radiographic testing and other NDE methods across all Engineering and Construction projects.
This role serves as SME for X-ray and digital radiographic inspection technologies, ensuring compliance with industry codes and company requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred (Engineering/NDT).
- Minimum 5 years of NDE experience with RT and advanced imaging.
- Current ASNT NDT Level III certification in RT.
- ASNT Level III in UT/MT/PT/VT/PAUT preferred.
- Knowledge of radiographic theory, exposure calculations, film interpretation, and radiation safety.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for RT, CR, DR and other NDE methods across projects.
- Develop and maintain NDE procedures and inspection requirements.
- Serve as Responsible Level III for NDE personnel and audits.
- Review radiographic procedures, reports, and image quality for compliance.
- Support fabrication, construction, integrity assessments, and investigations.
- Evaluate NDE contractor qualifications and vendor performance.
