Job summary

Relativity Space, Inc. seeks a Master NDE Inspector - Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to perform internal and external weld inspections against codes and drawings at our Mississippi site.

You will record data, evaluate discrepancies, and communicate findings to production and engineering teams. The role requires Level II NDE certifications (ASNT NAS-410), extensive PT/MT experience, and solid knowledge of AWS/ASME; you will verify welds and materials, manage preheat/interpass temps, and

Qualifications

• 3+ years in weld quality or NDE audits.
• Strong knowledge of AWS and ASME standards.
• Experience with both surface and subsurface NDE methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform internal and external inspections to verify weldments meet code, standards, and drawings.
• Record inspection data and communicate findings with teams.
• Conduct dye penetrant and magnetic particle inspections as needed.
• Develop welding procedures for code compliance.
• Oversee welding certification testing and material verification.
