Job summary

SPACE EXPLORATION TECHNOLOGIES CORP is seeking a NDE Inspector, Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), to join the mission of making humanity interplanetary. You will perform high-quality inspections of flight components and participate in continuous improvement efforts.

The ideal candidate will hold a current AWS CWI certification and a high school diploma, with strong experience in welding inspection standards and appropriate methods. This role requires physical capability to work in demanding conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, or have eligible residency status.
• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including at heights.
• Experience with welding and inspection standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections to determine if weldments meet acceptance criteria.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Recommend and approve welding repairs after inspections.
