Job summary

Relativity Space is hiring an experienced NDE specialist to lead UT/PAUT inspections and feasibility studies for aerospace manufacturing. You will develop PAUT techniques, mentor teammates, and collaborate across teams to ensure high integrity of inspected parts.

With a decade of NDE experience, you will serve as a subject-matter expert, driving quality, audits, and documentation while supporting travel to partner sites. This role requires on-site work at Stennis, MS.

Qualifications

• NDE Level II or III Ultrasonics certification required.
• Total NDE experience of 10+ years; 6+ years in aerospace manufacturing or regulated industries.
• Contributed to multiple medium/high complexity projects.
• Open to travel 10%–25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead feasibility studies and POD trials with NDE engineers and UT/PAUT inspectors.
• Develop, document, and publish PAUT inspection techniques for various parts.
• Perform UT/PAUT inspections and ensure reliable results.
• Serve as SME and primary contact for UT/PAUT inspection development.
• Collaborate to design and optimize automated inspection systems.
• Mentor other specialists and conduct internal audits.
• Produce detailed inspection reports and communication of findings.
