Job summary

World Wildlife Fund (WWF) in Washington, DC, hybrid work arrangement, seeks a Senior Specialist for NbS Project Development and Finance. Qualifications

• 5+ years of project development experience (carbon or NbS preferred).
• Exposure to carbon markets, NbS marketing/sales, or related methodologies.
• Strong financial modeling and business analysis skills for NbS finance.
• Excellent written and oral communication for investment memos and pitches.
• Willing to travel up to 20% and possible extended missions.

Responsibilities

• Support NMU deal leads in origination, design and development of NbS products and carbon removal credits.
• Advise on carbon project development, market methodologies and standards.
• Build and maintain financial models for deal structures and returns.
• Coordinate with WWF and partners on costs, community benefits and governance.
• Ensure alignment with international standards and WWF processes; conduct project assessments.
