Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years (or advanced degree with 3+ years) of relevant experience.
• Experience in carbon or NbS project development and baselines/feasibility studies.
• Exposure to carbon markets, standards, and methodologies (e.g., VM0047).
• Strong ability to work inclusively with Indigenous Peoples and local communities.
• Specialist knowledge in stakeholder engagement, FPIC, and benefits sharing.
• Excellent written and oral communication for WWF management, partners, and funders.

Responsibilities

• Support NMU deal leads in origination, design, and development of NbS products, focusing on carbon removal credits.
• Advise deal teams on carbon project development, market methodologies, and standards.
• Design and implement stakeholder engagement, benefit-sharing, and FPIC processes across NMU projects.
• Ensure projects align with international standards, market best practices, and WWF policies.
• Assess projects for climate, social, and biodiversity outcomes within policy contexts.
• Manage project delivery and engagement with internal and external stakeholders across multiple projects.
• Support market research, process improvements, fundraising, or market outreach as needed.
