Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years (OR advanced degree with 3+ years) of relevant experience.
• Project development experience, ideally with carbon or NbS projects (baselines, feasibility studies, PDDs, etc.).
• Exposure to carbon or NbS marketing/sales or offtake structuring or familiarity with carbon market mechanisms and methodologies.
• Superior financial modeling and business analysis skills for NbS or nature-related finance structures.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills for WWF management, partners, and funders.
• Willing to travel up to 20% of the time and potentially extended missions.

Responsibilities

• Support NMU deal leads in the origination, design, and development of NbS products, focusing on carbon removal credits.
• Advise deal teams on carbon project development, market methodologies and standards.
• Build and maintain financial models to evaluate deal structures, costs, and investment returns for NbS projects.
• Collaborate with WWF legal and operations to optimize production and financing costs and governance.
• Align projects with international standards, WWF processes, and impact goals.
• Assess projects led by other organizations for climate, social, and biodiversity outcomes.
• Manage project delivery and stakeholder engagement across multiple projects.
• Support market research, fundraising, and market outreach as needed.
