Decision Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer for an embedded role within a U.S. Navy weapon system program office in Arlington, VA. The position demands high-visibility leadership across weapon systems modernization and stack integration.

The ideal candidate has a DoD SECRET clearance, 10+ years of Navy systems experience, and a track record of delivering system-level solutions aligned with NAVSEA standards. On-site compliance is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in a STEM discipline or Bachelor’s with equivalent Navy systems experience.
• 10 years of systems engineering experience with U.S. Navy surface weapon systems or combat systems.
• Active DoD SECRET clearance required (Top Secret eligible preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead technical, programmatic, and architectural roadmapping across the IWS 11 portfolio.
• Incorporate Fleet feedback to inform near-term CONOPS and long-term capability baselines.
• Analyze threat intelligence to update weapon specifications and survivability solutions.
• Direct system‑of‑systems integration studies linking terminal defense weapons into ship systems.
• Interface with senior leadership across partner organizations to align on capabilities and next steps.
• Apply MBSE practices and digital engineering to modernization lifecycles.
