Job summary

Agile Defense, LLC in McLean, VA is seeking a Systems Engineer III with deep Navy Combat Systems and Electronic Warfare expertise to lead complex engineering programs from requirements analysis through full lifecycle execution.

You will evaluate architectures, guide design decisions, and support high-visibility test and training events while ensuring DoD standards and program milestones are met. A Secret clearance and 10+ years of systems engineering experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's level degree in Computer, Electrical or Electronics Engineering; Computer Science; Information Systems Management; or Systems Engineering.
• Ten (10) years of professional experience in systems engineering with Combat Systems or Electronic Warfare Systems.
• Must be able to travel up to 20% CONUS & OCONUS; U.S. citizen and active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements analysis and lifecycle execution for Navy Combat Systems and EW projects.
• Evaluate architectures and guide design decisions.
• Develop test plans, test reports, and planning documents for Combat Systems or EW training.
• Manage DoD software projects from cradle to grave.
• Support high-visibility test and training events.
