Job summary

A trusted defense contractor is looking for a Lead Systems Engineer to join their team in Washington, DC. This role focuses on the development and support of advanced combat systems for the Navy. The candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and at least 15 years of extensive experience in systems engineering for Surface Navy Weapons Systems. An active DoD TOP SECRET clearance is mandatory. The compensation package includes a competitive salary range of $170k-$200k along with comprehensive benefits.

• Active DoD TOP SECRET clearance required, maintainable throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, field, and sustain operationally superior weapons systems.
• Conduct full spectrum of systems engineering and integration for Surface Navy.
• Support NAVSEA in Air Defense and Missile Defense systems.
