Job summary

Tridentis, LLC in Bremerton, WA seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to design, analyze, and deliver structural systems for naval vessels, supporting the U.S. Navy, MSC and USCG.

You will review SIDs, perform structural analysis with FEMAP, develop calculations for foundations, and prepare SCDs/SARs while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Travel ~10% domestically.

Qualifications

• Requires experience supporting U.S. Navy/MSC/USCG vessels.
• 5+ years in Navy ship modernization programs preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve engineering deliverables including SIDs and supporting calculations.
• Perform structural analysis using FEMAP and related tools.
• Develop and review structural calculations, SIDs, SCDs, and SARs.
• Lead or mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Assist Program Managers with business development and customer engagement.
• Travel approximately 10% domestically and internationally.
