Job summary

Ifas Llc is seeking a Manager, Program/Project II in the Washington, DC area. The role requires leading Navy program management efforts, engineering support, and resource planning across major programs and technology initiatives for submarine needs.

Ideal candidates will have extensive Navy program management experience, be proactive, travel 1–3 times per year, and be capable of guiding technical approaches and cross‑agency negotiations. Active security considerations apply.

Qualifications

• 5+ years Navy Program Management experience.
• 2+ years Navy Engineering Support experience.
• Ability to analyze and process engineering program documentation.
• Ability to assess and update spend plans.
• Ability to develop/document/implement new processes.
• Ability to analyze program risks and develop risk assessments.
• Must be proactive, work independently, and within a team environment.
• Ability to travel to support client (minimal, 1-3 times per year).
• Experience or familiarity with the BYG-1 submarine combat system.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall program definition, organization, and direction of short and long-range plans.
• Guide the technical approach; provide consultation regarding resources.
• Establishment and control of milestones, schedules, budgets, and costs.
